RAW WAS WAR

In what was definitely one of the best RAW's in the past few months, we saw Stone Cold Steve Austin pound the Undertaker to regain the title. That title change was the end of a great night of storyline advancement and athletic competition. I like Ivory on the mike! Let her do a little bit more trash talking! Also, Hardcore Holly is starting to make a name for himself in a big way...a big RED way!

Some side notes on RAW...was that Kimona Wanalaya in the ring with Ivory? Same look, but I have to think that it is some new talent...I like the Home Shopping Network post game shows. Steve Missurak was cool. They need more interviews, though...As I stated on the newsboard, I am all about the Chaz gimmick! Probably because I am nothing but a Jersey boy myself!...Was that a clothesline from hell from Bradshaw or what?

By the way, the new WWF.com is up. Really cool!

I did catch some of NITRO here and there. I'll tell you, I NEVER would have thought that I would see Arn Anderson and Sid Vicious in the same ring let alone the same angle! Never. As for the NITRO main event angle, I think that it was probably one of the best one night angles that I have seen from the WCW and that if they do more things like that they will become competitive again...HOWEVER...what the hell was that main event? They built it up perfectly all night and then we get that? And another thing, the hummer angle is stupid. Okay, so Sting was behind the hummer last night, but you know that he is going to deny being behind it the other nights. Hey, who cares? The angle involving the title has progressed. DROP the damn hummer crap and get on with Big Sexy -v- Sting -v- Team Madness angle. Man oh man. How dumb are those friggin bookers? A GREAT build up to a very disappointing main event.

WWF The Music: Volume 4 is scheduled to be released this coming January.

ECW is looking to strike gold as of sorts. In recent weeks, Paul Heyman has been in contact with three very big name stars about one time only appearances. The Legion of Doom has been contacted and it looks as though they will be accepting the challenge that Paul E. laid out as they are slated to take on The Dudley Boyz at the next PPV. I have a question. If they are still under WWF contract and the ECW is going to use them, does that mean that there is still a deal between the WWF and the ECW as far as talent goes? Anyway, the ECW has also contacted Vader about wrestling Taz at their next PPV. Vader declined to accept the challenge. You see, the ECW is looking to grab some more big name talent for one shot deals. Why one shot? They want the bigger names in the industry to job to their own talent to get them over in the industry. Hey, it's not a bad business idea!

As it has been reported elsewhere, the WWF has gotten clearance from the USA Network to extend RAW to 11:05 instead of 11:00. Now, Turner has been known to go right up against anything that the WWF does, so it looks like NITRO may be going a little bit longer, themselves. Although, last night they ended like four minutes early. Hmmm...

Shane Douglas is still not signed with the WCW or the WWF.

I have been receiving a lot of mail concerning the WWF picking up Stevie Richards. Folks, the only thing that I know about both parties is that the WWF is looking to get as much young talent as they can and that Stevie Richards has many online fans who have started a petition to get him into the WWF. I don't know if there have been negotiations or talks or anything, but Stevie does work the independent scene and his fans seem to want to see him in the WWF.

Did you see Lenny Lane and Lodi last night? Oh boy...an angle that I originally turned down is becoming more humerous to me than anything. Yeah, I think that it is pushing the limits of what the WCW calls "family entertainment" but it is funny.

I have this weird liking for The Cowboys in the WCW. I think that it is a different group than the other ones in the WCW at the moment. Everyone has an agenda. Everyone wants to do something here or there. Well, it seems to me that the Cowboys just want to beat ass! I like that! The old type of wrestling is what they are to me. A bunch of big guys that just beat the hell out of people. It's a damn near perfect group...

You gotta laugh at Dave Flair's new look. He looks just like Daddy!
