NITRO

I was really impressed by NITRO last night in the fact that they opened up with a good overview of the Hollywood to Hulk transition. Also, I thought that they had a great build-up to the Hogan -v- Vicious main event. Most of the middle card was good, too, although there were some matches that I would have rather not seen at all. All in all, the show was going great. Then the main event came around. They built it up so well (I watched it with a bunch of friends...everyone wanted to see it) and then they ruined it with one Steiner-line. There was no need for An interference that would end the match like that. I am glad that the people threw their trash all over the ring, because that ending was trash. Common WCW. Build it up, then bury it.

As for RAW, I know that I am not the only one that is enjoying this Holly character. I mean how could you not love Crash Holly and Bob Holly beating the hell out of each other and then asking if they were okay? That was hilarious! Jericho, I thought, had some more great mic work. Also, his entrance music is the stuff! I have to get that off of the internet somewhere. Point on Jericho...is he nuts talking to the Undertaker and the Big Show like that? Oh well, I would love to see a Jericho -v- either man match. Speaking of great mic work, The Rock did it again! He is the absolute best!

My final thoughts on Monday night...NITRO blew what would have been their best show in months...RAW was excellent once again...Hogan did a great job in his match as did Vicious...Jericho, The Rock, and The Undertaker all gave great interviews...WCW is coming back from the depths of despair...the WWF is on top of the mountain and they are still going up!

The latest news on Rena Mero is that she is going to be getting a movie role sometime in the near future and that she wants to open her own line of cosmetics. You know, as I write this I am asking myself, "Is this wrestling related?" Well, no. I am not going to report on her anymore unless it is wrestling related.

There is a rumor going around that the War Games will not be a part of Fall Brawl this year. Let me be the first to say that the War Games are excellent and they add that other dimension to this particular PPV that makes one want to see it again and again. I think that just about everyone on the internet was looking to have the four on four man battle replace the three on three on three, but in any case, we wanted to see the returning nWo (Hall, Nash, Sid, and Steiner) take on the MegaManiacs (Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, Mystery). Or, if it was to consist of three three man teams then we wanted the good (Hogan, Sting, Goldberg) -v- the bad (Sid, Steiner, Nash) -v- the Triad. I just hope that WCW doesn't blow this opportunity.

The WWF will NOT be making an internet championship. That's absurd.

Look for the Women's Division to get a kick in the pants starting this SummerSlam. The WWF execs know that they need this division to stay ahead of the WCW, so don't look for it to go anywhere. I also expect Tori to get the title at SummerSlam and possibly have to defend it on RAW against Jackie.

In the latest Warrior Web Release, he downgrades Eric Bischoff and basically says that he is a terrible leader and does not know how to run a wrestling company. As for the WWF, he says that he will be going to court with them in three months. Also, he stated that he is open for discussions with the ECW if they would have him at all.

The WWF is going to continue having Jericho interrupt interviews like he has been doing until he actually gets his OWN interview cut into by The Rock sometime after SummerSlam. Also after SummerSlam, look for the Dudley Boys and Kurt Angle to enter the WWF as regular wrestlers.
