WWF Comings, Ratings Opinion, FOX Rumors

This is the latest out of the WWF Talent Relations Department. It seems that they have hired another woman to add to their roster. This woman goes by the name of Miss Delicious and is a current ring announcer for the UPW out of California. If you remember, the UPW is where the WWF signed four young stars just a few weeks ago. Delicious (the name sounds nice!) actually was one of the Godfather's hos at Wrestlemania when he made his entrance at the top of the show.

After the Monday night smoke has finally gone off and cleared, the WWF is the new ratings champion as they over took the position of "Most Wins in a Row" by beating NITRO on Monday with a rating of 6.0 to 2.6. It is not even worth writing, but there is no way that the WCW is going to win the ratings in the next two to three months. These months are (again) rebuilding months and with all of the rumors about a start-up promotion with FOX involving Hogan and Bischoff, there could be huge things in store for the little company in Atlanta that just doesn't seem to be able to get on track.

As far as those FOX rumors are concerned, the only thing that is really pushing them right now is the fact that Bischoff mentioned in a few online interviews when he made his return that FOX spoke to him about a wrestling promotion. As far as Hogan goes, he has been on record stating that he has talked to FOX and is interested in starting his own promotion. As a little add-on tidbit that you might be like to know, there is a feeling among many of the bigger independent leagues (the ones that are operated and owned by ex-wrestlers) that if the FOX rumors turn out to be reality, that it would be a great opportunity for these young leagues to be bought up by the FOX conglomerate. Basically, some folks are predicting a mirror image of what the WWF did in the late 70's and early 80's as far as rival promotions are concerned. In my opinion, I think that that is a lot of hooey, but that is just my opinion!
