Big Poppa Pump, Follow-Up to Yesterday's News, Bam Bam and Candido, and More!
Contrary to popular reports, Big Poppa Pump will not be taking any time off in the next week or so. That would ruin his push and not be worth the time that he was supposedly granted to take off.
In a follow-up report from yesterday's news, Bischoff has taken some time off to relax and will be giving the full book to Russo in his absence. This is reminiscent of what Russo did not but a few weeks ago. There is a feeling in the internet community and in the WCW lockerroom that Bischoff and Russo are pulling the biggest work that they can think of. With Bischoff taking time off, Hogan apparently "gone" from the WCW, Hall's contract "terminated", and Nash not on television the return is set for the original nWo and their spokesperson Eric Bischoff to make their return. However, the swerve in this work comes when the nWo doesn't return as the nWo, but as another group on a different network. This could be a big success for the WCW or it could be a HUGE failure. But then again, it has to be true before it is either!
On the exact opposite end of the morality spectrum, Bam Bam Bigelow risked his life and acquired second degree burns on his body as he rescued a few small children from a fire the other day. This goes to show you what type of person Bigelow is and that there ARE good guys left from the old school wrestling group. All the best in Bigelow in his recovery from the burns...get well soon so we can see that team of you and Candido take over the WCW!
Just a quick note here...isn't it amazing that the crowd will pop big time for a Benoit -v- Jericho match or a Benoit -v- Malenko match NOW, but when they were in the WCW just a few months ago, they wouldn't even get a response from the crowd? If that doesn't show the obvious difference in the atmosphere of the the WWF and the WCW, then I don't know what does.
Everyone is so quick to jump on the bandwagon of Sable not returning to the WWF. The thing is, no one ever said that she was! Rena Mero made a comment in an interview that if the conditions were right, she would love to return to the WWF, but ONLY if the conditions were right. Never was it stated that she would be making a return.
