Original nWo News: Who is going where and when and WHY?
The original nWo, comprised of Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall are all in the news these days and they are all heavily intertwined in the rumor mill. Here are a few of the rumors floating around about these men and some news added where appropriate.
Kevin Nash is said to be trying his hardest to get back into a great ring shape. The reason for this you ask? Could it be a final run in the WCW against the New Blood and the other wrestlers who are gaining ground in the WCW? Could it be that Nash wants a feud with Booker T? Nope. The rumor has it that Nash has been telling everyone in the know that he wants to fight out of his last months on his WCW contract (actually a LONG 15 months) and then try to get back into the WWF for one more run at the top of the card against guys like Austin, The Rock, HHH, and The Undertaker. If you folks can remember, one of the last feuds that Kevin Nash had in the WWF was against the Undertaker and he wound up losing the feud as a sort of segue-way into his departure from the company in 1996. Don't look for the WWF to be too appealing with their offer to Nash, though. Nash will want the same amount of money that he was getting in the WCW (roughly one and a half million per year) and he will want certain guaranteed feuds. The WWF has already thought about the possibilities of having Nash back in their lockerroom, and many feel that he just might not be needed when the time comes.
Hulk Hogan has his own problems, storylines, and angles going on right now...I don't even want to touch that situation.
As for Scott Hall, it is looking like he would like to do the same thing as Nash in the WWF, but the problems are a lot deeper with Hall than with his larger tag team partner. Upon entering the WCW, Hall blatantly ripped off of his WWF character of Razor Ramon with trademark toothpick and hairstyle. There are STILL people in the WWF that believe Hall was the reason for the whole ratings downfall of the WWF since he allowed his new employers to exploit his previous character from the more successful WWF. These rivets of anger are still alive today in some of the backstage members of the WWF crew, particularly the older members of the crew. Guys like Brisco and Patterson and Garea and Dave Hebner are all against bringing back Hall and are set on making an example out of him to the rest of the wrestling world that if anyone messes with the WWF, they will pay for it in the end. Vince McMahon, on the other hand, may have different feelings about the whole situation. More on this as it comes in.
