Here I am a day before my 26th birthday and I'm starting to get aggravated at the things that have been around me for a while. My apartment, my part of New Jersey, etc...and now WWE.com is bothering me a lot, too.
For those of you who don't frequent that site, they've begun running "inside" news articles every once in a while and they do it in a very "internet wrestling community" type of style. Now, I'll never be the one to stand up and defend the internet wrestling community (commonly referred to as the "IWC" on sites that actually care about it), however, let me be the first one to say that WWE.com is not only mocking the community, but they are making asses of themselves.

Yes, folks. The geniuses over at WWE.com decided to run a fake "news article" about Little Bastard filing suit against the website for invading his home - underneath the ring.

That's right everyone - WWE is now reporting storyline injuries as "inside news" on their website. How pathetic is that? It wasn't bad enough when they made Jeff Hardy not appear on television a few years ago because Talent Relations was trying to remove the high-flying spots from all of the matches.
Who sits on the writing committee and says, "Oh! It'll create extra drama if we trick the internet fans into thinking John Cena is hurt! Oooo!!!"? I mean come on already. Get a fucking clue!
And, in case you didn't see it, now WWE.com is running fake fan interaction on their website. Fantasy Royal Rumble
Look at the order of elimination. Mr. McMahon is first. Remember, WWE wants you all to hate the Mr. McMahon character, but given a true choice I think we all know who would be one of the first to go...
That's right! The man who was second to last eliminated - Jean Paul Levesque. How utterly pathetic is this? How disgusting is it that this man, who was the lowest drawing champion over the last decade and is not literally writing his way into the main storylines, is pushed down the fans' throats in what is supposed to be a "cool" interactive online poll?
What's the goal of all of this crap? To tell you who you should be cheering for in the ring. With the recent cancellation of the pooly attended WWE pay per view press conferences due to TNA chants, it looks like the geniuses over at WWE think that putting up fake "news" stories is going to be their next claim to fame.
Since we're so close to the SuperBowl, let me ask if you remember those "Get It?" commercials that WWE ran a few years back. Better yet, let me ask WWE whether or not they "get" the internet wrestling community and - more importantly - if they "get" what their fans want any more.
