TRIPLE H IS FADNG! TRIPLE H IS FADING, OH MY GOD HE’S TAPPING!!!! BENOIT IS THE CHAMPION!
Post Wrestlemania Comments
Like the Rock or anyone else I’ve never had the chance to say this. But finally Chris Benoit IS the World Champion. Now with all that being said I must say WWE may finally be on the track to returning to all of its greatness we all have known before. It seems as if other guys may now get pushed now that both main titles are on new guys.
The heel turn of Trish Stratus, well on one note I sensed it coming from a mile and a half away. It is good to keep the feud going, but on the other hand, what will it do for Trish as a singles wrestler? Face it that only logically leaves two female faces, Victoria, and Lita, you can add Stacy into the mix if she actually wrestles. I think it’s a bad move from a wrestlers standpoint, but let’s see what Vince does with this one.
Both of the Tag Team matches were complete duds, they should have had more time, and effort put into them. It seems as if they were slapped together within 10 minutes, which is about as long as both of them lasted, nice to see the belts stay on the champs though, making a new champ at each ppv, isn’t the way to go.
We all also were witness to the return of the Deadman. So far everyone, and I do mean everyone has criticized this. In my opinion everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions, but for everyone to slam a great buildup, and a nice effort by WWE is complete bullshit. You are all a bunch of blood sucking leeches and it makes me sick. I can’t stand whiners. Think about it, Undertaker only had about three months to grow out his hair. Then think about this logic for a second, not everyone wanted to see the exact replica of what he once was. WWE did a great job of crossing his two characters with one another. Like he is in some alternate reality where he doesn’t know who he is. Nobody will really know what’s going on until Taker takes the mic again. We will just have to wait and see, the situation isn’t totally f***ed yet, so please hold the bitching until further notice.
Post-Raw Comments
Okay, now it seems as if this whole draft thing might be a good idea. The only things that are really bothering me about it, are the situations with all the current title holders. If they all get stripped of their respective titles we can have a huge problem on our hands, let me tell you why.
First off we have Chris Benoit and Eddie Gurerro. Both of these men have been busting their asses for every company they have ever worked for. They have barely reached their goals and become World Champions. Which opens the doors for a lot of other guys to get shots, guys like RVD, Booker T, Paul London (if WWE was really smart), Batista, all the names are out there now. WWE is so damn close to righting a lot of their past wrongs. This draft this is the one thing everyone has been wanting for a long time. But in the same sense it’s going to be starting all over again from scratch. Which in the end is going to make everyone have to get used to the ppv’s again, the shows again.
Just as long as RVD goes to Smackdown, and Benoit and Guerrero keep their titles I’ll be happy.
Which reminds me, Smackdown and Raw are both coming to my hometown in a few months and I’ll be sure I’ll take a nice large Balrog Lair sign, so look for it.
I really don’t know what else I can say about this whole “Draft” issue, my main, and only concern are the title holders, as long as they find a way to prevent that from becoming a car wreck, we should all be very happy by Tuesday morning.
Top 5 Things WWE Needs To Do Regarding the Draft.
5.) Draft RVD and HBK to Smackdown.
I think these two could have a really great set of matches together, both have the same look/personality and putting them in the mix could make for a really great and entertaining match.
4.) Keep The Cruiserweights on one show.
This is an absolute must, splitting up the Cruiserweights will put an end to a really exciting division. Hell add Spike Dudley to the Division, it’s not like WWE is doing anything else with him.
3.) Try and improve the Womens Division.
Again I’m a Red Blooded American man of course I like a little T&A. But I am a natural wrestling fan. I really hope that WWE brings a little more wrestling to the Womens Division. If you treat them like a piece of ass 99 percent of the time, the one time you try and make them go out there and have a match do you really expect anyone to take them seriously?
2.) Keep the main Titles on the people who have them.
Once again, this is an absolute must. If Vince really wants to give all of us what we want, then he should not strip these men of their titles. Benoit and Gurerro just barely reached that point in their career where they have received what they have been working for since they started in the business. There isn’t a man or woman alive today that has a good reason to take that away from them.
1.) Keep the workers happy.
This might be the hardest thing to do, but it is the most important. WWE has lost so many workers due to releases and people plain quitting. If someone starts to be a whining little baby about their schedule then we may have even more workers wanting to quit. The only people who will really be losing out would be the fans.
Well those are some of the most important things WWE needs to keep in mind regarding this draft. As always I’d love all of your input on what you think needs to happen, and what you want to happen. Thanks again for taking the time to read my column.
